The short version

• Glam Bestie is for adults 18 and over.
• The camera mirror and face tracking run on your phone. Nothing is sent while you look.
• When your scan is done, 3 photos of your face (front, left, right) are sent to Google's Gemini AI, through Cloudflare, to read your makeup-relevant features and shades. We ask for your agreement first.
• We don't store your photos. They're used for that one analysis and then discarded. Our AI gateway's logging is switched off.
• We keep your results as text (for example "oval face, warm undertone, blush: soft peach") and simple measurements, without photos and without your name.
• No ads, and we never share face data with advertisers or shops.
• Before the AI analysis you sign in with Google or with a code we email you, so each scan belongs to a real person. That's how we keep it free.

What we collect

Results: the analysis text, face-shape measurements (numbers), lighting check results, language and the AI model used. Feedback you choose to send. A random device code stored on your phone, used only to limit scans per day. Counts of how many people reach each step (no personal details). Your network address is only used, in a scrambled form that changes daily, to limit scans.

Who processes it

Cloudflare (hosting, database, AI gateway) and Google (Gemini API, paid tier, which Google says it does not use to improve its products). Photos are sent only to analyze your face for makeup advice.

Your account

You sign in with Google or with a code we email you, right after your scan and before the analysis. Your beauty profile is then on any phone. We keep your email address, your first name (from Google, if you use it), and your latest results as text, never photos. To delete your account and everything in it, open the menu in the app and tap "Delete my profile", or email us.

On your phone

Your latest results are saved in your browser so you can come back to your looks. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Your choices

You can stop at any time before the photos are sent. To ask us to delete your saved results or feedback, email us with the date you used the app and we'll remove them.
